Look How They Have Grown

I am amazed at how quickly my September lambs are growing. Since they are in the barn with their moms and with no competition for food, they are growing at a good rate. I will let them out with the main flock in January, after their vaccinations. and I am certain that they will be able to get to the food. My husband will be busy building some new feeders, hopefully this week, as the girls outside are hungry in this cool weather. All the September lambs are for sale, except one ewe lamb, Lily, who has a beautiful soft buttery fleece. Her mother, Viola, won the grand champion fleece at the Royal a few years back, and she has passed her fleece to her daughters. Here are some photos. Enjoy!
