Twist Fibre Festival
Finally the drought seems to be over in our neck of the woods. It has rained daily for the past week and my pasture is finally starting to grow back. We were able to get hay but I will need more as I am already into my winter supply. I have taken all the ram lambs out and they are growing well. Gil and I are getting ready to head to the Twist Fibre Festival in Quebec next weekend. I have lots of roving, handspun yarn and he is packing circular sock knitting machines and hand cranked socks. This is our first year as vendors and it looks to be a good time. I am taking a course from Pluckyfluff on spinning coils, so it should be exciting. All the ram lambs pictured are for sale and are either purebred shetlands or shetland bfl crosses. I can put together a nice breeding group
as well. Enjoy the photos.

Hi Yes we had a great time with everyone at Twist as well. I can send you home with a couple of lambs for the freezer, but live. There is no place handy around here to get them processed. Just let me know what you want to do and see you on the 9th, Michele
