Ene's Scarf

Last October at central seminar in Etobicoke, I met Ted Myatt, who purchased some of my lace weight yarn for a project he was working on. He said if I would like he would let me know how things turned out. Pictured is the scarf that he knit, called Ene's Scarf, a pattern by Nancy Bush. Not only was Ted kind enough to post a photo and give me credit on his web site, he also generously sent me the scarf. I love it and it is so nice to see my yarn from my sheep made into something so beautiful Many thanks Ted. If anyone is interested in browsing his very interesting web site, the address is http://knitterguy.com

Eye Candy for Fibre Nuts

With all this cold winter weather and my new spinning wheel just begging to be used, I hauled out some of my rovings. They are lonley in the wool room and are looking for new homes. I still have rovings left for sale : $2.50/ounce and a fawn shetland/silk blend for $4.5/ ounce. PST and shipping on top of these prices. I have some lovely musket, dark brown, charcoal black and brown and grey striped rovings for sale. Just e-mail me if interested at sminty@look.ca or just enjoy the photos.

Happy New Year

I can hardly believe that 2008 is here already! 2007 went by like a blur and 2008 has come in like a lion. We recieved some very wet snow last night which is now blowing everywhere as the temperature has been steadily dropping over the course of the day and the winds have been increasing. My final breeding group is almost ready to come out of the barn to rejoin the herd and then the waiting for lambs begins. Enjoy some of our winter scenes. As I do, I remeber how lucky I am to be living here and enjoying all that I have been given and worked for in my life.
